You've seen the movie, you've listened to the Original Cast Recording, and now the smash-hit sensation is coming to Dublin, bringing with it all the glitz and glamour we need to brighten up those winter nights.

That's right, Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be coming to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 20th November 2025 - 11 January 2026 as part of its first ever world tour. Behind that rich velvet curtain, audience members will be treated to a night of romance and splendour as Baz Luhrmann's iconic film gets the theatrical treatment.

The musical, which is set in the scandalous world of the titular nightclub in Paris at the turn of the 20th Century, is a celebration of over 160 years of music. You'll recognise plenty of iconic songs from the film, but prepare to be surprised and delighted as Moulin Rouge! The Musical gives the soundtrack a contemporary update, featuring songs that were released in the 20 years following the movie's release.

Tickets for the global sensation are on sale now through Ticketmaster, but if you wanted to win a pair in a manner fit for a lovestruck Parisian bohemian, then you need to get yourself to the Love Lock Wall at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
