For the study, researchers at New Mexico State University compared the effectiveness of different mosquito repellants, while also including certain perfumes.
Any of the repellants containing DEET were deemed effective, while non-DEET were virtually useless.
But oddly, Victoria's Secret Bombshell perfume was also very effective against mosquitos, and also lasted ages.
Stacy Rodriguez, an assistant working on the study, said:
"There was some previous literature that said fruity, floral scents attracted mosquitoes, and to not wear those."
"It was interesting to see that the mosquitoes weren't actually attracted to the person that was wearing the Victoria's Secret perfume, they were repelled by it."
