We tried The Body Shop’s charcoal mask and it’s surprisingly good

This charcoal face mask is a must for problem skin.

Trying to find a face mask that suits your skin is difficult when there are hundreds of products out there with thousands of ingredients. One ingredient that keeps cropping up in my search for the perfect skincare product is charcoal. You may be hesitant to try anything with charcoal at first, but the benefits of this ingredient are incredible. As someone with super oily skin, charcoal has been recommended time and time again. I finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to give it a whirl and I regret not trying it sooner. Using charcoal can help combat oily skin and I found the perfect face mask to introduce into your skincare routine. The Body Shop's Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is only €25 and has helped tackle my worst breakouts.

The affordable product gives you a healthy-looking glow, as well as an at-home facial that costs a fraction of the price. In just ten minutes, your skin will feel refreshed and exfoliated, but it doesn't leave you with that horribly tight feeling some masks cause.

The mask is made with bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, green tea leaves, and a little Community Fair Trade tea tree oil.

Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes and clean it off with cool water. You'll notice the results instantly with your skin appearing smoother and clearer. One of the things I love most about this mask is how it reduces redness. My acne scars and current spots were way less noticeable after my first use.
