Spa booking service SpaSeekers is the company behind the genius idea which will bring all the benefits of one of our favourite festive drinks to the spa.
So, what's involved in a mulled wine spa break? Well, let me tell you. You can soak in a massive hot tub filled with mulled wine. Yes, you are reading this right, a hot tub filled with mulled wine!
If you've ever thought to yourself 'I'd love to jump into my glass of mulled wine' then now is your chance!
Not only can you soak in the wine but you can totally relax with a glass of mulled wine in hand while you bath.
There are actual benefits of bathing in mulled wine too. Apparently the bath in question is "carefully blended to reduce acidity and treated to create a safe and neutral PH, a dip in this festive spa is ideal for reducing inflammation."
"Our mulled wine spa combines the rejuvenating benefits of red wine and spa treatments with our own blend of vinotherapy. Set at 37 degrees this luxurious pool allows the pores to open, releasing toxins and allowing your skin to embrace the tannins in the mulled wine."
The spa also offer mulled wine inspired scrubs which utilise "the exfoliating and anti-bacterial properties of brown sugar, combined with the antifungal and antioxidant cinnamon, our sugar and spice body scrub is the perfect way to bring blood flow back to the skin and leave you glowing."
The experience is available at Shrigley Hall, Cheshire, but if we hear of one in Ireland we will let you know!
