Kim K’s hair stylist tried the bouncy blow-dry TikTok trend and gave it a big thumbs up

This method, which requires your hair to be dry, some Velcro rollers, and a curling iron, was trialed by the celebrity hair stylist, and even he was blown away by the end results

Chris not only trialed the hack for us, but gave an easy-to-follow demonstration of the DIY bouncy blow-dry trend on a model, to which he admitted he 'was not expecting' to see such salon results from.

"First of all, I prepped the hair with the Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer by Color Wow. But it’s just on the mid-lengths and ends.  Then you take a triangular section at the front and put the bangs in a pony. Then, put the back in a high pony," the stylist advised.

Chris then followed this by curling the front section and the back section, while the hair was still in its ponytails.

His curling choice? The Shark FlexStyle 5-in-1 Air Styler & Hair Dryer, which is a less expensive alternative to the Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler. 

He then proceeded to wrap the curls he had created in velcro rollers and let them set. 

"I did four in the back and one in the bang," he said before adding: "Once it set, I used some hairspray on the roots to give it more lift.

"So, when you take it out, you get extra volume. But I’m not gonna lie, I was not expecting this when I took it out. The hair looked like she had a full J-Lo blowout," he said.

The results of the DIY hack were undeniable as he revealed a salon-standard voluminous and bouncy blow-dry in realtime, visibly shocking both himself and his gorgeous model.

Having styled the locks of Jennifer Lopez and Dua Lipa, we were never going to argue with anything the stylist recommended when it comes hair. However, we were not expecting these results.

Once again, TikTok has thrown out a cost-effective beauty gem, and, once again, Chris Appleton has verified it's one we should add to our beauty routine.
