DIY beauty: The kitchen staple Julia Roberts uses to keep her hair healthy and hydrated

Well, we're definitively trying that!

There is no denying that when it comes to gorgeous, bouncy, beautiful manes, Julia Roberts got one. And now we might have just figured out just how she keeps her locks looking go good. According to Vogue Italia, the 52-year-old actress is a fan of all-natural beauty treatments and uses extra virgin olive oil to keep both her hair – and her skin hydrated and healthy. Yes, really. Apparently, Roberts has spoken previously about her obsession with olive oil, and reveals how she creates an emulsified mixture of extra-virgin olive oil with a little warm water and leaving it on her hair as a DIY mask for around half an hour. And it doesn't even stop there. Olive oil is also a great way to hydrate and moisten dry skin, and so when it comes to keeping her feet soft and sandal-ready, Julia reaches for the cooking staple once again.

"For her feet, she rubs in neat extra-virgin olive oil and, after pulling on a pair of old bed socks, leaves it on all night."
