We're not the only ones to consider this as the colour has been creeping into runways this season.
Big brands such as Bottega Veneta, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, and Louis Vuitton all sent a buttery tone down their runways.
On top of this yellow is a mood booster. It reminds us of sunshine and positivity, which is perfect as we shift into bright evenings and spring starts to raise its head.
Yet yellow is an intimidating colour to introduce to your wardrobe, so how do you do it?
The easiest way to start sporting the shade is to treat it like you would cream or khaki. So pairing it with black, burgundy, and navy would work perfectly.
Even a pair of light-wash denim jeans with a top in this colour would work super well.
To be honest, you can treat it like you would any other neutral and you'd be on to a winner.
Yet if that feels like a big commitment to start off with, accessories could be the way to go; think bags and ballet flats.
As the grand auld stretch is nearing, you can start thinking about investing in your summer wardrobe, maybe adding a splash of this neutral yellow for something different.
Whether you want to try something pale or cool or maybe a dress closer to the colour of a daffodil the styling will remain more or less the same.
Lashings of gold jewellery, a strappy sandal or heel and a bag in the same colour and you're all set.
If dresses aren't really your thing, there are loads of tops and shirts to choose from to meet your yellow quota.
Perhaps the lowest-stakes way to try the colour is with a T-shirt, sweater, or blouse.
Paired with tailored black trousers, straight-leg jeans, or a full skirt, they’ll turn any regular outfit into something more playful.
