A bride's wedding dress was ruined by this simple mistake

In a now-viral video, Conroy revealed a client of hers was left broken-hearted after their wedding dress was damaged on the morning of her wedding.

There's no doubt that all brides are always extremely cautious on the morning of their wedding, but incidents do happen.

One bride was left shocked when she unzipped her dress bag on the morning of her wedding to find scorch marks on the bottom of her dress.

Colleen said, "My poor client came across this when she unzipped her dress bag the morning of her wedding. We were getting her ready in a very cute cabin in Squamish, BC, but unfortunately, there was a discreet baseboard heater at the bottom of the hooks where it was hung."

"Well…the baseboard heat went right through that garment bag and right onto the dress," she explained.

She said the bride did her best to remain calm, and thankfully, they managed to repair the dress, but she's urging brides to be cautious about where they hang their wedding gúnas.

She added, "My client was incredibly chill considering the circumstances, and with a quick collab from the wedding planner and a good family friend - the dress made an incredible comeback!!!"

After the video went viral, people shared their own wedding blunders.

One wrote, "I'm a make-up artist too. 1 of my brides got head-butted by Steve the stripper on her hen's night when he tried to take off his Velcro pants. He ended up breaking her nose and giving her 2 black eyes a week before her wedding, which was fun to cover up on the day."

"I used baby powder once on a dress after the bride walked across a freshly tarred bridge. Worked great," another make-up artist said.

One person added, "Worked in a bridal shop. Had a bride whose limo was brand new. When she got out, the back of her dress was dark red. Color transfer from the new car upholstery."
