Five Dot Botanics is the skincare brand you're going to be seeing everywhere in 2020.

The gender-neutral minimal ingredient skincare brand's mission is “do more with less” - and they only use five ingredients in any product that they make, with a focus on high-quality, plant-based ingredients. The company launched a capsule collection of five products, all of which are vegan certified and palm oil free. And sustainability is massively important to the brand, too: all of the packaging is recyclable, and the ingredients are biodegradable.

"Five Dot Botanics believe in the efficacy of minimal ingredient skincare. Beauty has become too complicated and no one understands what ingredients are in their skincare," the company said. "People want more control over what goes on their skin. The best way to offer consumers transparency, clarity and control, is minimal ingredients and this is what Five Dot Botanics provide."

Here are the five products included in Five Dot Botanics' range.

Deep Feed – Green Coffee + Cacay Nourishing Facial Serum

Five of the most powerful anti-ageing oils combine to tackle inflammation, reduce wrinkles and give intensive nourishment. Cold-pressed green coffee beans deliver three times more antioxidants than green tea, calming puffy and congested skin. Amazonian Cacay nut oil contains high levels of vitamins E, F and A which revitalise and soften the skin, reducing fine lines. Safflower oil stimulates skin regeneration, clearing blemishes and reducing scars. Amla fruit extract is renowned for the wonders it works on damaged skin, while Chamomile oil is a wonderful skin soother.

Brighten Up – Rose + Pomegranate Face Mist

Refresh your skin with this fragrant balancing mist that combines rose flower water and active pomegranate enzymes to brighten, purify and boost. Rose flower water detoxifies the skin while stimulating blood circulation beneath the skin and is good for inflamed or irritated complexions. It also encourages new cell growth and balances pH levels. Pomegranate extract reduces the appearance of fine lines and increases cell renewal, while glycerin from soya beans moisturises. Levulinic acid and sodium levulinate combine to improve the skin's natural acidic balance. Spray a few pumps onto your face and your skin will feel toned, refreshed and restored.

Daily Prep – Carrot + Evening Primrose Face Oil

The fragrance-free facial oil combines five powerful moisture-locking ingredients rich in Omegas. Carrot oil is high in Beta Carotene, vitamins A, B, C, D and E and essential fatty acids, making it excellent for dry skin. Evening Primrose Oil conditions dry, tired skin and is high in GLA fatty acids. Ximenia seed oil is used extensively in Africa for its moisturising and revitalising qualities, while Sunflower seed oil is a natural emollient that protects collagen and elastin. Grapeseed oil will tackle blemishes with its antibacterial and anti- inflammatory properties.
