Usually come spring or summer, people often sway for lighter hair colours.
Brunettes have a few lighter strands thrown in and blondes basically double up on the brightness.
So, we were quite surprised to find out that the most popular hair colour for spring is quite dark.
Colourful, but dark.
Pinterest currently can't stop pinning blackberry hair. The dark purple shade is mainly seen in balayage, but some people have opted for it to be coloured throughout their whole head of hair.
According to Pinterest, users have searched for the hair colour 355 percent more since January 2018.
So far on social media, the only person we've seen nail the trend is MD hairstylist Megan Schipani. She gave one of her clients an absolutely gorgeous blackberry hue.
Megan told InStyle that she created the colour with a balayage highlighting technique at first. She lightened her client's dark brown hair and then covered it with three shades of purple. Her roots were left untouched.
We don't know about you, but we are absolutely in love with it.
