However, I feel like the hair salons in town get a lot of love, and sometimes the suburban salons get forgotten. Which is what brings me here today... So this is where I go to get a haircut (although not as often as I should!) It's located in the heart of Sandymount Village, and boasts an impressive level of skill and care. The main reason I love it is because they genuinely listen to the client. When I say I want an inch cut off, I get an inch cut off. If you're in the general Portmarnock/ Malahide area, then The Spot is where it's at lads. They describe themselves as "specialists in cutting and colouring services", and they're not messing. They're incredible stylists specialise in the latest cutting techniques and superb colour application. Plus, you can also get your nails done while your hair is being snipped. Gorge. So for the purpose of this article, I got onto all the lovely ladies in my life, and there was not one 'Northsider' who didn't mention The Space.
