Using your phone camera, you can ‘scout’ colours from the real world and the app will then give you a list of real colours you can buy from brands like Essie and OPI.
The app developerFaceCake's founder and CEO Linda Smith told Mashable. "Wanting an instant way to translate brilliant real-life colors into direct product results, discovering new shades that are available for immediate purchase, and to have that ability in a mobile app, were among the inspirations for ShadeScout Nails.”
This app is sure to appeal to both beauty junkies and fans of instant gratification.
