If there's one person I'm going to take a book recommendation from, it's Taylor Swift. The singer is one of the most gifted storytellers and lyricists, so there's no doubt she has good taste in books.
During her new docu-series, The End of an Era, Swift can be seen listening to an audiobook to help calm her down before her first show at London's Wembley Stadium.
The singer was particularly nervous about the show because it was her first performance after the attempted terror attack in Vienna, as well as the harrowing stabbing in Southport.
But what audiobook was Swift listening to?
Swift was listening to The God of the Woods by Liz Moore, and we cannot wait to read it.
You can buy the audiobook here.
The synopsis reads:
Early morning, August 1975: a camp counselor discovers an empty bunk. Its occupant, Barbara Van Laar, has gone missing. Barbara isn’t just any thirteen-year-old: she’s the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the region’s residents. And this isn’t the first time a Van Laar child has disappeared. Barbara’s older brother similarly vanished fourteen years ago, never to be found.
As a panicked search begins, a thrilling drama unfolds. Chasing down the layered secrets of the Van Laar family and the blue-collar community working in its shadow.
Swift previously told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that she's obsessed with audiobooks: "It’s always a different one. As soon as I finish one, I’ll start a new one."
