‘Focusing on her family…’ is one of celebrity’s most unlikely couples no more?

There were plenty of raised eyebrows when Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble became a regular 'thing' on the dizzy celebrity couples circuit.

Firstly there is the age gap - she's 61 and he's 37. They also got together in the aftermath of the breakdown of the Kardashian momager's marriage to Caitlyn Jenner; she and the Olympic gold medalist were married for 25 years and broke up when Caitlyn announced she was transitioning from male to female. Then there was her sky-high profile in contrast to his lesser-known name - Corey is an associate of Justin Bieber's management team. Still, the duo have been together for two-and-a-half years and he recently hinted in an interview that marriage was very much on the cards. Which is why news from Radar Online this morning is surprising: the site says the pair are no more and have gone their separate ways.

"Kris told Corey that she needed some space so that she could focus on her family and the show right now.

"She said that she was getting side-tracked with this relationship and that she needed to put her family before her own needs and wants."

Mr Gamble is currently taking a time-out, skiing with friends in South Africa.

And although a reunion isn't definitely off the cards - Radar Online adds: "A lot of people in her inner circle think that Corey was nothing but a rebound from Caitlyn anyways."

Ouch.

Kris has six children and six grandchildren and is responsible for masterminding their careers.
