The couple announced the news on Instagram yesterday evening.
Rachel posted a photo of herself showing off her engagement ring to announce the news.
The mum-of-five simply captioned the photo, "A lifetime, with you."
People showered the mum with loving messages following the joyous news.
Niamh Cullen said, "This is so heart-warming. [The] biggest congratulations, Rachel, so happy for you and your family."
Another added, "Awh guys…. What a beautiful way to top Christmas. Delighted for ye xx."
"Huge congrats, Rachel, so thrilled for you both. Enjoy every bit of the celebrations," one added.
Miriam O'Callaghan added, "That’s so wonderful, Rachel - brilliant, happy news. Thrilled for you both and for all your family."
The news comes after Rachel and her partner welcomed twins together, a baby boy and a baby girl.
Rachel is also a mum to three daughters, Leah, Holly, and Hannah. She shared her three daughters with her late husband, Daniel.
Daniel sadly passed away from oesophageal cancer in September 2018.
