Amy calls Hugo “fake”, says she did not sleep with him, after Love Island dumping

"I do wish I’d opened up and re-coupled with someone else."

Amy has called Hugo "fake" and stated that she "100%" did not sleep with him, following their recent dumping. The couple left the Love Island villa during last night's episode after the remaining islanders decided to save Mary and Tyler, sending four other contestants packing. Amy and Hugo were among them. After returning from Casa Amor the pair discovered that they had drifted apart, with Amy accusing Hugo of not trying. Despite this, she has since said that her feelings for Hugo were real. "I think at the end, everyone questioned why on earth he just wasn’t reciprocating what I was giving," she said. "I tried. I was being 100% genuine and real and I was a little bit messed around, but I loved the experience. "I’ve definitely learned what I don’t want and how I should be treated in a relationship." Amy then added that since leaving with Hugo, she now views him as "fake." She said: "Because he wasn’t telling me that he didn’t like me." She went on to say she now regrets not coupling up with someone else when she had the chance. Ouch. "I do wish I’d opened up and re-coupled with someone else," she said. "I think me and Sam would have really got on. Sam was very genuine. He’s easy to talk to, very handsome and I could just tell he’s actually genuine. "And he wasn’t forcing anything, he was just being himself. I’d go on a date with Sam - a restaurant in London, eat good food, rooftop bar and loads of drinks. "Also, 100% I did not sleep with Hugo," she added, for good measure. Sam and Clarisse were also among the islanders who were dumped from the villa last night. Clarisse has since said that she most likely will not meet up with Tyler outside the show. She said: "In the real world and without even trying to sound petty or anything, I know that he would have been with me. "I can see how comfortable he was with me, it was just natural. I feel like he is a bit fake. I am a bit disappointed in him really." Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
