Apparently, this Strictly dancer could be dropped from the show

Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Clifton could be dropped from the popular BBC show, according to reports.

The professional dancer is expected to split from fellow Strictly star Kevin Clifton soon, after it was revealed that Karen is now seeing accountant, Stuart Woods. According to The Sun, Strictly producers are considering dropping Karen from the show because Kevin is more "popular." A source told the publication:

“Kevin is the most likeable dancer on the show and a brilliant choreographer. “Everybody loves him. He’s going nowhere.”

There has been much speculation over recent months that the pair are going to split officially soon. Next year, Kevin and Karen are going on 44 tour dates together as part of the Strictly Come Dancing live tour. However, the source said that they have been keeping their distance from each other for a while.

“Kevin and Karen still danced together in the group routines this weekend, but beyond performances they seemed to be keeping their distance. “Things are obviously very awkward between them. The understanding now is that they have sadly decided to split.”

A spokesperson for the BBC said: “This is speculation only and no decisions have been made about the next series.”
