From Power Over Me to Outnumbered and Rome, Dermot performed five tracks before thanking everyone and admitting he had to race over town to perform the next gig.

Couldn't have asked for a better homecoming," the star wrote on Instagram.Fans and invited guests had nothing but praise for the singer last night. Noting his "unmeasurable amounts of comfort and understanding" to some believing he was "genuinely sent by the angels themselves". I mean, it's definitely possible.

Dermot has a packed agenda ahead of him especially starting in early 2020. The star will embark on a tour that sees him playing over 30 dates in the US before playing in the UK and then on to Australia until May.
