The first contestant for Dancing on Ice 2018 has just been revealed

Yes, it’s back!

The show that first aired 11 years ago (Oh my lord… we’re surely not that old) is set to return early next year! AND… we know who has signed up to be a contestant – well one of them anyway. It’s nonother than the model, singer and actress Brooke Vincent!

The 25-year-old who is better known to many as Miss Sophie Webster, from Coronation Street spilled ALL the beans on This Morning. While chatting to hosts, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Brooke said that it absolutely “killed” her to keep it a secret as she’s so terrible at having to remain quiet – hence why she was revealed as the first contestant. They just couldn’t chance it you see! And it seems she’s already began prepping - not that the beautiful actress need do much at all! She said;

“I’ve been trying to lose a few pounds to get into those leotards.” “I’m built like a bull in a china shop.”

When asked why she was talking part in the brand-new series she admitted;

“I don’t know… a challenge, I love a challenge.”

These skates were made for dancing, and that’s just what they’ll do. One of these days these skates are gonna dance all over... Wait, who? ? #DancingOnIce

The show so many adored was axed three years ago but Dancing on Ice is in the works once more and we simply cannot wait to see all the new contestants! We’re planning on keeping our eyes peeled on the show’s official Instagram and Twitter pages, where so far, the team behind the production has done nothing but tease us, giving away nothing - only eye candy.

In the new series however, we do know that Holly and Phillip will be hosts once more while judges Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean will be back too! Hurray!
