"Keith was taken ill before the gig here in Bangkok this evening and has been admitted to hospital on the advice of the local medical team. "Our brother will be back on his feet as soon as possible and we thank you for all your wonderful support in the meantime."https://twitter.com/theREALboyzone/status/1111278981226074112 Boyzone are at the minute in the middle of their 25th anniversary Thank You and Good Night Tour. The farewell tour dates will take them across south-east Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. This comes just a few months after the lads bid a very tearful farewell during their last ever Irish gig. At the start of the year, the foursome took to a packed 3Arena to say goodbye - and to thank the fans who had stuck by them over the past 25 years. During the gig, Ronan delivered an emotional speech, documenting their time together as a band. He said:
"In 1993 we were babies we were kids, we didn’t know our arse from our elbow and we got on that green beautiful green bird and we flew to London and all hell broke loose and we never saw it coming nobody did. We've lived the dream. "They say you'll never work a day in your life if you're doing the job you love and we have never worked a day in our lives thanks to you guys. “We've only begun this tour, we've a long road ahead of us, but tonight feels like the climax of something really big in our lives. It's really special. It's going to be emotional. I'm trying to get through this.”Boyzone's final tour will take them to Australia and New Zealand next month.
