When asked about Republican candidate Donald Trump, Lady Gaga left Charlie feeling the tension when she answered with a very curt "I have nothing to say of him". Charlie, apparently a sucker for punishment, continued to ask the Perfect Illusion singer about Trump. Asking "'He claims he represents people who have been unrepresented, who haven’t had a voice?", Gaga simply remains silent for one of the longest silences in interview HISTORY. Finally, Gaga answers with a very vague "'I think, what is most important is for us to try and decipher what is real and what is not. And what is honest and what is dishonest. And be accepting of those things and not operating from fear." Gaga does eventually confess that she thinks Hillary Clinton will "do a good job" but after so much tension in the interview, understandably fans online lost their shit.Does silence speak volumes? @LadyGaga tells Charlie about her new style, #Joanne, family tragedy & #election2016 pic.twitter.com/INqnZ2z9J5
