That's right, Disney fans are going to be going on another Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride with everyone's favourite human-alien friendship duo.
The Hollywood Reporter were the first to break the news of the live-action remake, alongside the fact that producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich - who are currently working on the live-action Aladdin adaptation - will be at the helm.
There has been no indication yet if the film, which looks to be a live action/CG hybrid (which makes sense with the whole alien thing), will be hitting cinema screens or if it is for Disney's streaming service.
