Call The Midwife's official Facebook page posted yesterday announcing that starting from Sunday April 18, Call The Midwife is back!
"NEWS!! IT'S HERE!!! Call the Midwife will return with series 10 on Sunday 18th April on BBC1!! We are delighted to confirm that Call the midwife will be returning to your screens in just eleven days time!! Our tenth series will premiere on BBC1 at 8pm on Sunday 18th April As we start our final countdown, we will be bringing you all the news, chat and exclusive video content about our new series from the cast and crew right here – so stay tuned!! Call the Midwife Series 10. Begins Sunday18th April on BBC1."
The latest season will be the first we've seen of the cast since the Christmas special in which we saw Sister Monica Joan rushed to hospital, and Trixie was furious to receive a subscription to a Marriage Bureau as a Christmas gift.
Elsewhere in the episode there was a surprise reunion for Shelagh involving her in a deeply moving birth, and the circus arrived in Poplar, which was particularly exciting for Nurse Crane.
With the year it has been I know I definitely always look forward to cuddling up with some comfort TV at the weekend and the latest season of Call The Midwife is definitely one that will be on my 'to watch' list.
Season ten of Call The Midwife is set to air on Sunday April 18 on BBC1 at 8pm but if you just can't wait until then I highly recommend binge watching some of the other seasons.Entertainment
