Earlier this week, former Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh announced that she had to quit the show because of a fractured toe.
Walsh stubbed her toe while getting out of bed and subsequently fractured it, leading to her missing a crucial two weeks of rehearsals.
Alannah will now fill the gap in the line-up when the show starts in January.
Speaking about taking part in Dancing with the Stars this year Alannah said:
"I’m so thrilled to be joining the DWTS family – Christmas has really come early this year! I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in now and meeting the rest of the participants. And I also want to wish Aoife a speedy recovery.”Alannah finished third on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. She recently relocated to London where she has fronted many high profile campaigns.
