Sex/Life dropped on Netflix a couple of weeks back and has remained steadily in Top 10s across the globe since then.
Series star Sarah Shahi, who you might also recognise from The L Word, has been busy encouraging more people to watch the series - and finish it. It's a little well known tidbit among Netflix aficionados that execs base a lot of their renewals on how many people finished an entire series within 28 days of its release.
Chances are that a whole load of people finished this series - after that shower scene, how could you stop? - and Shahi is hopeful that Sex/Life's popularity will secure them a season two.
When asked about the series' potential for a second run on Instgram, she said: “Fingers crossed! We’ve been in the top ten for over a week in 86 countries, including the US and that’s bananas!
“But Netflix also really cares how many people watch the whole thing in the first 28 days so encourage your friends to finish if they haven’t yet!” So if there's a cause you're looking to get behind for summer, let it be this one.

Shahi recently filed for divorce from husband of 12 years Steve Howey, and much to the delight of Sex/Life fans, is now dating her co-star Adam Demos. She shared a birthday message to the actor shortly after going Insta official.
"Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together," she said. "But I do know I met my soulmate. I do know I found my forever.
"I do know I've never loved deeper, harder, more ferociously. I do know I’m overly grateful for him. I do know I've loved him for a thousand lifetimes before and will love him for a thousand lifetimes more. Happy birthday my baby."Nicola Coughlan has joined the cast of Only Murders in the Building
