The publication report that Shondaland and Netflix acquired the rights to the article, with Rhimes attached to write.
The series will be the first one she has created as part of her four-year deal with Netflix.
The move last year marked a split from ABC, the network where Rhimes had built her career with shows like Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder.
Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos said at the time:
