Strictly stars Kevin and Karen ‘set to divorce’ after three years of marriage

After months of rumours of a split, it is now being reported that Kevin and Karen Clifton are officially ending their marriage. The pair who are professional stars on Strictly Come Dancing have been subject to split rumours since the last season of the show aired, and reports of a possible affair are said to have led to the couple’s decision to officially split. A source close to the couple has said, however, that Karen is fighting for the relationship. “Karen is extremely upset about the whole situation and is really struggling to accept that everything is over,” the source told The Sun. “She’s been pleading with Kevin to give things another go but he’s made it clear that he’s not interested and doesn’t want them to patch things up.” Strictly fans, and particular fans of the pair, were quick to speculate something was wrong when Kevin and Karen didn’t perform together during the Strictly finale last year. The latest revelation comes just weeks after Kevin was spotted out without with wedding ring. However, when asked about the couple’s rumoured trouble last month, Karen said all was well. “Kevin and I start our own tour in May which we are really looking forward to,” the professional dancer told The Mirror. “We are really excited and we are creating right now and just talking through everything. “People are going to be interested but at the end of the day we are happy.”
