Wearing underwear while you sleep has been revealed to be the latest thing to challenge your body’s glowing health. In an interview with Shape.com, New York gynaecologist Dr Alyssa Dweck explained: “I often tell my patients to sleep without underwear. "If [the area] is constantly covered - especially by a fabric that’s not moisture-wicking or absorbent - moisture collects, creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria or yeast."Important question today: Do you wear knickers under your pyjamas?

Dr Dweck advised those who cannot go without underwear to bed, to wear loose-fitting knickers or pants.
"If there’s ever a time to break out the granny panties, this would be it", she said.
Wearing underwear to bed can also affect men's health too.
Dr Brian Steixner – Director of the Institute for Men’s Health at Jersey Urology Group confirmed that "your nether regions need to be just the right temperature in order to optimise sperm production."
In the words of Blu Cantrell, 'we need to let it breathe'.
