Milk Thistle
Well known for detoxing and promoting a healthy liver, milk thistle helps lower cholesterol levels and has shown signs of helping reduce the growth of cancer cells in breast, cervical, and prostate cancers.
Crush 1 tbsp. of milk thistle seeds in a mortar. Add to 3 cups of water and boil. Steep for about 20 min and strain. Drink 1 cup 30 min before meals in the morning, afternoon and evening, as well as just before going to bed.
