5 takeaways giving away free food with deliveries this midweek

It's mid December, and you know what that means - takeaway, all day, every day. Restaurants may be back open, but that doesn't mean that we can't still kick back, relax, and order ourselves a delicious midweek treat every now and again. Lucky for us, a few takeaways in Dublin, Cork, and Galway are offering some free food with their deliveries until Wednesday, December 16. Not entire free meals. That would be ridiculous. Who do you think you are? Rather, these restaurants will be giving all orders on Deliveroo a free festive treat along with their meals. Here's the suss.

Umi Falafel

Umi will be giving away Baklawa to everyone on Deliveroo’s nice list. The decadent sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with deliciousness and held together with syrup comes free with any meal deal ordered through the app. Available in Cork and Dublin.

Kerala Kitchen

Dubliners will receive a free samosa when they order coconut curry (chicken),  tikka masala (chicken), chicken biryani, rogan josh lamb or saag paneer. Who could resist those tasty potato and pea pastry parcels with mint chutney?

Papa John's

Let’s face it, Papa John is up there with Father Christmas when it comes to favourite paternal figures. Turns out he’s equally as generous too, as Papa Johns will be giving away two free cookies with every meal deal and individual create your own, classic or finest pizzas. Available in Galway, Cork and Dublin.

Xian Street Food 

Xian Street Food knows what is really at the top of all our Christmas lists... spicy chips. They’ll be giving away a portion of aromatic golden chips with every order of speciality noodles. Available in Galway and Dublin.

Tolteca 

Tolteca will be offering Dubliners a free double chip chocolate cookie with all meal deals, burritos, bowls and tacos ordered through Deliveroo.

Deliveroo recently revealed that searches for ‘Christmas’ and ‘festive’ on the app have increased by 198% when compared with December last year. To celebrate, they've partnered with the above restaurants to give everyone a bit of festive cheer this week. This offer is valid until Wednesday December 16.
