Fancy some free ice cream delivered right to your house this Friday? Course you do. It's free ice cream. Well, you're in luck because Deliveroo are giving away 1,000 free tubs of the stuff this week to mark their sixth birthday in Ireland. The delivery app launched in Dublin back in 2015, and now they've teamed up with Ben & Jerry's stores across the country to deliver some free ice cream to the first 1,000 people who want it. From 11-30am this Friday, Deliveroo users will be able to get a free 100ml B&J tub of their choice using the code ROO6BDAY from any Ben & Jerry’s stores on the app. But if you fancy getting yourself some free ice cream goodness you'll need to be quick, as there's only 1,000 vouchers available across six stores in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. Arabella Jenkins from Deliveroo Ireland said: "Over the past six years we’ve built up an amazing customer base in Ireland, so we wanted to give back to them as part of our birthday. "Consider this our birthday, your party! Thanks to our friends at Ben & Jerry’s we are sharing the sweet celebrations with 1,000 customers. We’re so proud to deliver the food our communities need and want to their doorsteps, and we couldn’t do it without our fantastic restaurant partners and fleet of teal clad-riders.” Vouchers will be redeemable from 11.30am on Friday, April 16, and are only valid once per each Deliveroo account.
