Domino’s giving away 10,000 more pizzas to Ireland’s frontline workers

Domino's has said they will be delivering 10,000 more thank you pizzas to frontline workers in Ireland. The takeaway delivery service will offer up to 100,000 more pizza slices to those working to keep the country safe during Covid-19. Domino's had already been surprising frontline workers with pizza since last year. Clyde Jamison, Domino’s Country Lead for Ireland, said the company wanted to do a little something to say thank you during these challenging times. “We want to thank all the frontline worker heroes who are currently working hard to tackle Covid-19, and are pleased to be able to continue delivering contact-free hot food to those who need it most," he said.  “It’s great to see so many other businesses supporting our frontline heroes during these times, and while we’re not saving lives, we’re proud to play a small part in the national effort by feeding those on the frontline during this critical period.”  Last year 200,000 slices of pizza were gifted to Feed the Heroes, Barnardo’s and frontline workers across Ireland. Those working in Garda stations, hospitals, fire units, hostels, homeless shelters, testing centres, and vulnerable people living in the community were all surprised with pizza for their efforts.
