Eilidh Smith, of Face Place, told Metro that the only way to avoid exercise-induced acne is to make sure you clean your face directly after working out.
She said:
"Running in makeup isn’t going to be a disaster – not removing your makeup is. "Ideally, as soon as you’re done moving, get it all off immediately. Don’t wait till you get home if you can. "Always make sure you’re using a deep cleanser to really get in those pores after you’ve finished training, so you don’t allow sweat to stay on the skin and clog it up."She then went on to give advice on what type of product you should use:
"You want to use a cleanser that’s going to remove all your sweaty makeup first of all, and then one that’s going to treat the skin. You can use the same one or different ones, depending on your skin type."
