"I’m heartbroken. Right now I have few words - but they will come. I love you and I’m proud to call you a friend."Rachael has one son, Freddie, who she started a memoir for when she learnt that she was sick. Creating the memoir, she did it so he would always know about his mommy and her life. Speaking about the memoir, Rachael said:
"It’s not as depressing as you’d fear - there is much humour to look back on in life!"And unfortunately, Rachael's time here is coming to an end sooner than anyone wanted. After a failed clinical trial, Rachael now knows her days left are numbered. In a recent article for the Telegraph, Rachael explained that her fear dying isn't the scary part. She wrote:
"I'm not scared of dying. I only fear for those I leave behind".You can read that full article here.
