Japanese "tears teacher" Hidefumi Yoshida has claimed that crying once a week is the key to leading a life free from stress. In fact, he's so convinced of this fact that he organises regular crying classes to help people achieve that sweet release of shedding a few tears.
He told Japan Times:
“The act of crying is more effective than laughing or sleeping in reducing stress. If you cry once a week, you can live a stress-free life."Seems legit, yeah. In his crying classes, Yoshida informs people of the benefits of crying and encourages ways that they can ensure they break down regularly enough. According to him, reading sad books, watching upsetting films, and listening to emotionally-charged music are the best ways to jerk a few tears. Sound.
