REVEALED: The Top Selling Brands in Ireland

If you're responsible for the weekly "big shop", chances are you're familiar with more than a few of these brands.  Checkout Magazine has today released the list of the Top 100 Brands for Irish consumers. For the second year running, the top spot was taken by Coca-Cola, but local brands held their own, with Avonmore, Brennan's Bread and Tayto all making the top five. Other Irish brands to make the list included Jacob’s, Club soft drinks, Irish Pride, Dairygold and Pat the Baker. The list is compiled using branded sales value across the Irish grocery sector, with Nielsen measuring the sales performance of over 6,500 brands from over 200 product classes.
