If you've read any of my travel pieces, you'll know that I love the west of Ireland. It's where my husband's family are from and it has some of the most beautiful scenic spots in the country.
I regularly visit Mayo and in particular Achill, so when I spotted everyone talking about this Mayo glampsite I just had to take a little look for myself on their social media.
Glamping Party Mayo located in Crossboyne village is a self-catering accommodation which is ideal for a gals' or small hen party-type holiday.
The site features four glamping pods with each pod able to accommodate up to five people in five single beds.
Their spacious self-catering holiday home is situated right next door and can accommodate 15.
It can also comfortably cater for groups of up to 35 for the exclusive use of their site if you fancy booking it for a birthday or other special event - though this option may not be possible this summer due to Covid.
The glamping pods are usually available to book Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights from €100 per night. Right now, only those living in Mayo can avail of the pods, but we're hopeful that a few staycations will be on the cards later this year.
If you would like to find out more or book a glamping experience for yourself, you can by visiting their website here.Life

The full list is below. The global aviation industry is in the middle of its worst fuel crisis in years and it’s already claimed its first major scalp. Since US-Israeli strikes on Iran effectively shut down the Strait of Hormuz in late February, jet fuel prices have roughly doubled, surging from around $85–$90 per barrel […]
