10 dotey animal Instagram accounts you absolutely NEED to follow

OK, so anyone who knows me will know that I am animal obsessed. I follow a pretty hefty number of doggos on the gram and also love some of the unique pet accounts. So from the cutest puppers to the sassiest of cats (@James Kavanagh!) to a rescued fox and even an uber cool wallaby, I’ve got you covered with the animal Instagram accounts you need in your life. So, in no particular order (I love them all equally) here we go: Ducksmakegreatpets:  We've shown them love before, but Barclay, this beautiful golden retriever and his adventures with his eight feathered friends will be sure to make you smile next time you're scrolling through your phone. Get all your ducks in a row and go give them a follow! Dora_figalga Everyone will have their own favourite breed of dog, but I am a huge fan of greyhounds and this absolute LADY is a skit to have on your Instagram feed. She's a dainty little Italian greyhound, named Dora, with a seriously curated social media account.

Next up is this adorable rescued Bahamian racoon called Pumpkin. With a staggering 1.5 million followers this little madam has a serious fanbase and is often pictured indulging in her favourite foods...a gal after our own hearts. Dianathesphynx From one boujee lady to another, I couldn't leave James Kavanagh's regal feline, Diana out of my top ten. Princess Diana, the cat's namesake, is one of James' idols and quite fittingly Diana the Sphynx's bio reads:

'Je suis The Feline’s Princess'.

Diana defies beauty norms and proves you don't have to have fur to be fab. Chester_the_fox Chester is a handicapped rescued fox who doesn't let his missing limb hold him back. He's besties with a border collie and a general all-round Fantastic Mr Fox. Boopmynose Probably one of the weirdest, but undoubtedly funniest Instagram accounts I follow. It's a myriad of animal faces up super close with a focus on their snouts...look I can't be the only one who finds it hilarious.

I actually have my Dad to thank for introducing me to Snowee the Cockatoo. He showed me a viral video of Snowee rocking out to music and ever since then I've been a devout fan. You will honestly cry with laughter watching her videos. Bikke_the_chip No, it's not Alvin. This is the account of two chipmunks, Bikke and Tod from Japan. The chipmunks are surely the poster-pets for chubby cheeks...they're curvy and they like it! Jackthewallaby Jack has an effortlessly cool vibe about him. In his khaki parka, he looks like the Champagne Papi of the pet world. Give him a follow, or don't - he DGAF. Theadventuresofhedgy I mean hedgehogs are inherently cute and this one's even followed by Millie Mackintosh. Get on it!
