The forecast update says:
"Present charts indicate that there will be rain in southern areas on Thursday, but cool, bright and showery elsewhere in blustery westerly winds. "[It will be cold, with] afternoon highs of just 12 to 15 degrees Celsius. Chilly but dry overnight."It will be cool, dry and bright on Friday in many midland, eastern and southern areas. However, there will be occasional showers in the northern and western coastal areas. There will be fresh west to northwest winds with highs of 12C to 15C. Meanwhile, the weekend is set to be changeable - with Saturday being mainly dry and heavy rain forecast in the evening, possibly overnight. It will turn drier again during Sunday, although Met Éireann warn that this could change.
