Amazon has confirmed that the Kindle will be discounted during Prime Day 2025.
Two editions of the popular device are expected to be reduced by up to 25% next week.
The online retailer released a sneak peek for the upcoming sale – which takes place between 8-11 July – confirming that the latest Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition will be discounted.
Amazon typically includes its own devices in the Prime Day sale, with the likes of the Echo Dot, Fire Stick and Echo Show often receiving big discounts.
If the Kindle is dropped by 25% then this will mark one of its biggest reductions of the device across Prime Day and Black Friday sales, so shoppers can bag a decent deal.
The standard Kindle is currently priced at £94.99 ahead of Prime Day, while the Paperwhite version is priced at £159.99.
So if you've got an eye on a Kindle it might be worth waiting for the Prime Day sale as the two versions could see a big discount.
Although Amazon has only name dropped two Kindle devices it's also possible that there will be additional deals when the sale starts.
There's the Kindle Paperwhite Colorsoft, and the Kindle Paperwhite Kids Edition, which both received discounts including during the Amazon book sale back in April.
You can keep an eye out on all of the Kindle deals this Prime Day on the Amazon website here, while all deals can be found here.
Ahead of Prime Day – which will see plenty of book deals – shoppers can secure some early discounts.
This includes Colleen Hoover's Verity, which is 40% off, Harlan Coben's latest thriller Think Twice for 90% off and Bob Mortimer's autobiography at 80% off. You can check out all of the early book deals here.
While Kindle Unlimited lets you explore millions of books, audiobooks and magazine subscriptions on any device – including your Kindle. You can sign up for a free 30-day trial, which then costs £9.49 per month, unless you cancel.
You can also sign up for an Audible membership from £5.99 per month, which comes with a 30-day free trial so you can try it out before committing to the monthly cost.
