Andrea Bocelli will livestream a concert from an empty Duomo Cathedral on Easter Sunday.

Guaranteed to be an unmissable show, the opera singer will perform at a very special "audience-free concert" which will be broadcast on his YouTube channel. Milan's Duomo Cathedral is closed to the public on account of the devastating Covid-19 virus and Bocelli has been invited to perform by the "City and of the Duomo Cathedral of Milan". His performance will send a "message of love, healing and hope to Italy and the world".

On Easter Sunday at 6PM UK, by invitation of the City and of the Duomo Cathedral of Milan, Italian global music icon Andrea Bocelli will give a solo performance representing a message of love, healing and hope to Italy and the world.

Everyone in Ireland is asked to stay at home this weekend and tuning into this concert would be pretty special way to spend your Easter Sunday evening. The cathedral organist, Emanuele Vianelli, is the only person set to join the talented tenor and they will perform classic songs that will bring comfort to many, including Ave Maria. In an official statement, Bocelli said:

It will be a joy to witness it, in the Duomo, during the Easter celebration which evokes the mystery of birth and rebirth".
