David Beckham responds to those who criticised his decision to kiss Harper

The dad-of-four is hitting back at critics who said kissing his daughter is ‘inappropriate’.

David Beckham faced a lot of backlash last month when he posted a picture of him giving his daughter Harper a kiss on the lips. However, the former England captain is hitting back at those who judged the picture.

“I actually got criticised for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day,” he told The Sun. “I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn maybe not – he’s 18 so he mind find that a little bit strange.”

David went on to say that he was brought up in an affectionate family and that is the way he is with his children now.

“It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children. “We want to show them love and support them. So we’re very affectionate with them.”

This isn’t the first time the family have been criticised for apparently ‘inappropriate’ posts. Victoria also felt the brunt of the disapproval last year when she shared a similar picture of her and five-year-old Harper which some followers called “disgusting”.
