If you were one of many who just couldn't get enough of the classic Irish wit in Derry Girls, then we have some good news for you.
Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee has announced her latest series, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, will premiere next February.
The series follows three childhood friends from Belfast in their late 30s who reunite due to the tragic passing of their fourth friend.
The cast is made up of Irish names, including Roisin Gallagher, Caoilfhionn Dunne and Sinead Keenan, with Netflix recently announcing that even more Irish actors have joined the supporting cast.
And the good news doesn't stop there, as Art Campion, better known as the 'good-looking' priest in Derry Girls, is joining the cast as Jim.
Additionally, Tom Basden, who featured in Plebs, After Life and The Ballad of Wallis Island, has been cast as Seb, while Gangs of London star Michelle Fairley has joined the cast as Margo, and Josh Finan and Bronagh Gallagher will be portraying Jason and Booker, respectively.
The one and only Father Dougal Maguire, Ardal O’Hanlon, has also joined the cast as Seamus, while Natasha O’Keeffe will portray Greta.
Emmett Scanlon is cast as Owen, while Darragh Hand will play Liam, per Extra.ie.
How To Get To Heaven From Belfast follows clever, witty, and rather chaotic writer Saoirse, glamorous mother of three, Robyn, and dependable carer Dara.
Now in their late 30s, the three friends are about to embark on a dark, dangerous, yet hilarious adventure through Ireland, trying to piece together the truth of their past.
