Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow high temperature weather warning for the entire Republic of Ireland.
Valid from 8am on Thursday until 8am on Saturday, the alert states that the country will see "very warm and humid weather" on Thursday and Friday. This is as daytime temperatures will reach "in excess of 27 degrees" in many areas away from coasts. Met Éireann has even said that night time temperatures will not fall below 15 degrees.
