A garda investigation has been launched into the heartbreaking case. Medical tests have indicated that the twins were born two months prematurely. Ireland is currently in the grip of a serious homeless crisis with more and more families becoming forced into emergency accommodation with no real solution on how to get back out again. Recent figures showed that almost 10,000 people, including children, have been living in B&Bs this year alone. Our thoughts are with the family involved at this very sad time.
