Pictures and comments flooded social media last night as people prepared to stay in the airport for hours. Ryanair tweeted:.@DublinAirport is open & operational. Some airlines are experiencing delays to their flight schedules as a result of de-icing issues. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for latest flight updates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

And these were the kinds of reply the tweet received:Weather has regrettably caused a small number of Dublin cancellations (3/3). All those affected were advised of their rebook/refund options

Can SOMEONE let passengers know what’s going on with flights delayed from yesterday? We have been left in the airport with no food, drinks & no idea when we can travel..?

Been in Dub Airport for 11 hours now because you didn't decide to tell us the flight to Amsterdam was cancelled for 3 and a half hours, then had to pay €400 for an aer Lingus flight at 6.15am and I still haven't spoke to a single person from Ryanair, Michael prefers his horses

We are stuck in Dublin with hundreds of other folk. Basically dumped off the plane - off you go. No staff members to tell us where to go or what to do. We basically overheard a conversation with an airport official. Really poor customer service.
