The Independent reports that the baby girl was found with injuries at her home on Monday and admitted to hospital nearby, but she has now been transferred to a Dublin hospital.
A Garda spokesperson told the newspaper: "A ten-week-old girl was removed from a local hospital in Co Louth on Monday and transferred to a Dublin hospital where she remains in a serious condition. The circumstances of how the child received her injuries is now part of a garda investigation."
