The lucky punter purchased their winning ticket online on the day of the draw.
The winning numbers in the Daily Million Plus draw were 6, 7, 18, 19, 23, 32, while the bonus was 24.
In a statement, the National Lottery has confirmed that a notification and an email have been sent to the online player.
The winner is advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team by calling 1800 666 222 or by emailing [email protected].
This is to arrange the collection of their prize.
National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O'Dwyer, said: "If you bought your ticket online, now’s the time to double-check — you could be Ireland’s newest big winner!
"We’re encouraging all our players to check their emails and National Lottery accounts, as someone in Kilkenny has just woken up half a million euro richer.”
Tonight’s EuroMillions Jackpot (Tuesday, 4 November), meanwhile, is set to soar to an estimated €85 million.
Tickets for tonight's draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app, or on the National Lottery website, ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales.
