The €1 million top prize was won following the 9pm draw on Monday, September 9, with the winning numbers as follows: 17, 21, 27, 29, 31 and 37 (bonus number 19).
The winner now has 90 days to come forward and make arrangements to collect their prize from Lotto HQ in Dublin.
As well as the big win on Monday night, four other players won €100 each, with a further 59 winning €25 apiece, 87 winning €10 and 776 winning €3.
Monday night's big prize comes just days after a winning EuroMillions ticket worth €1,005,000 was bought over the weekend.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought in Spar on the Main Street in Kinlough, Co. Leitrim on Friday, September 6.
The busy local store has a rich history of winning Lotto purchases, with an €11 million win back in 2016, as well as a €1 million winning ticket sold in 2019.
Shop owner Noel McGowan was delighted to hear the news over the weekend and admitted his store is no stranger to big wins.
“We have had our fair share of big wins over the years and we never get sick of getting the call from the National Lottery to say that we’ve had another.
"Back in 2016, we sold a Lotto jackpot ticket worth over €11 million and we also had a top prize €1 million Dailly Million ticket back in 2019.
"We have even had two Lotto Plus 2 top prize wins and we also had two winners share in a Lotto jackpot as well so our customers have been incredibly lucky.
"This is our first big EuroMillions win so it’s very exciting. To think that one of our customers now has a ticket worth over €1 million is wonderful news.
"We have a team of 24 working here in store and the buzz has been growing since the news got out.
"Our store is located just two miles from Bundoran so you can imagine how busy we are with passing trade as well as locals. We’ll be hoping the winner checks their ticket soon and realises what they’ve won!”
The National Lottery continues to urge players who may have visited the Spar store on the Main Street in Kinlough to purchase their EuroMillions ticket on Friday 6th September, to carefully check their tickets.
The winning Raffle code was I-RCJ-65292. The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.
