A fundraiser has been set up to support the mum and her family during this distressing time.
Stacey Callan suffered a serious brain injury after falling earlier this month.
She is currently being treated at a hospital in Turkey, but she has a long journey ahead of her.
Her family members launched a GoFundMe following the freak accident and are urging the public to help.
"We never thought we would have to write this but in October 2024 Stacey Callan suffered a serious brain injury following a fall, whilst on holiday with her partner and two young children.
"Stacey is currently in a coma in a hospital in Turkey. Whilst Stacey and her family took out travel insurance, the insurance company is refusing to pay out at this time," they explained.
The family said they're trying to work with the insurance company but they urgently need help to "reduce the overwhelming financial burden".
They want the family to be able to focus on Stacey's recovery without the financial stresses weighing them down.
"Stacey has a long road to recovery ahead of her, she has been in for the last 5 days.
"The current charges for this stands at €20,000 and looking at €2,000 per day going forward," her family said.
Over €26,000 has been raised so far.
